Mornington Osteopathy welcomes Miles James

Mornington Osteopathy is pleased to announce the addition of another Osteopath to our team, Miles James D.O., Osteopath. Miles will be working from Mornington as well as Rosebud (Rosebud hours are Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon. Rosebud consultations will be made through Mornington Osteopathy).

“I am a U.K. trained Osteopath and have just settled in Mornington having run a multi-
disciplinary practice in rural Suffolk for over thirty years. For the past five years I was also attached to a Medical practice and was able to provide Osteopathic care in close conjunction with the General Practitioners on the same premises and we both discovered how our patients appreciated this consultation and continuity.
My areas of special interest are: Prevention of back and neck pain in the workplace. Working with golfers to help achieve a comfortable and repeatable golf swing. Helping all patients achieve optimum posture. I have finally given away the rugby refereeing so now am a beginner tennis player and have been playing a reasonable game of golf since my early teens in Wales.”

  • As from 2010 we are delighted to be able to announce that Mornington Osteopathy will be consulting on Mondays and Thursdays at The Sports Injury Clinic in Frankston at 361 Nepean Highway.

    TSIC has a well deserved reputation as the place to go for manual therapy treatment in Frankston and will offer our patients access to much better facilities. We will have access to specialist medical practitioners, gym classes and with over 1,000 patients a week passing through the doors we also feel it’s a great way to provide osteopathic treatment to a ever wider range of people.

  • WorkCover, TAC and Veterans Affairs patients are eligible for osteopathic treatment. Patients may also be covered for osteopathic treatment under an Extended Care Plan (ECP) which means up to five treatments could be subsidised by Medicare. Speak to your doctor to see if you're eligible.
