TSIC has a well deserved reputation as the place to go for manual therapy treatment in Frankston and will offer our patients access to much better facilities. We will have access to specialist medical practitioners, gym classes and with over 1,000 patients a week passing through the doors we also feel it’s a great way to provide osteopathic treatment to a ever wider range of people.

WorkCover, TAC and Veterans Affairs patients are eligible for osteopathic treatment. Patients may also be covered for osteopathic treatment under an Extended Care Plan (ECP) which means up to five treatments could be paid for by Medicare. Speak to your doctor to see if you're eligible.

Rachael Mason, Osteopath
Rachael grew up on the Mornington Peninsula and attended Toorak College in Mt Eliza where she was the Sports Prefect for Swimming and Waterpolo. Following a strong background in swimming at a state and national level, Rachael developed a keen interest in medicine and sport.
In 2008, Rachael took up a full time locum position in private practice then travelled overseas for six months, holidaying in Egypt and all over Europe. Along her travels she visited Osteopaths in England, Scotland, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece, gaining valuable experience and furthering her Osteopathic knowledge. Currently, whilst working at Mornington Osteopathy, Rachael is back at Victoria University teaching Physiology and Clinical Diagnosis & Management at the City Flinders Campus.
On the weekends you will see Rachael on the sidelines looking after the Frankston Bombers Football Club, previously working for two very successful years with Seaford Football Club (1st XVIII Premiers 2007 & 2008). “Seeing injuries in the acute stage then treating players to get them back performing at their best is a great sense of achievement, and I can use the same principles in private practice no matter what age, ability or goal”. Following her success she was invited to be a presenter for AFL Auskick Sports Injury Clinics.

Using soft tissue massage, gentle manipulation, stretching and indirect techniques, Rachael pays particular attention to the stresses everyday life puts on our bodies and also offers ergonomic advice to improve posture and to decrease wear and tear.
